Application of Guiding Questions to Rehearsal Phase

This chapter is an application exercise specific to the Rehearsal Phase of the directorial process, based on the reading of the short play Social Media Intermezzo 1.0 . It contains a series of guiding questions to help the student director prepare for the early rehearsal stage, blocking, refining, and tech rehearsals specific to the production of Social Media Intermezzo 1.0 . These practical exercises help the student director apply collaborative stage directing principles in the safety of the classroom or workshop setting. The chapter ends with Activities for Self-Reflection for the student’s personal and professional growth.
