Construction of Self-adaptive LBS System Based on Grid

A self-adaptive LBS is supposed to choose positioning methods and to provide proper services according to the user’s conditions and requirements. The paper first gives a brief introduction about Grid technology and LBS architecture. Then it analyzes several characteristics of self-adaptive LBS, including self adaptation of positioning, self adaptation of service content, and self adaptation of service quality. Finally, it gives the architecture of self-adaptive LBS and its components based on Grid.
