Mental Workload Evaluation Method Based on Multi-Resource Theory Model

Research is based on the mental workload multi-resource model of information processing,first picks up four indicators which can reflect the level of mental workload;Then deals with the hierarchical analysis of the tasks carrying out and classifying into 28 behavior parameters of four information resources(Visual、Auditory、Cognitive and Psychomotor);Further,checks four indicators of task number task difficultconflict of the same information resourceconflict of the same proceeding to evaluation mental workload of the behavior sequence.Finally,validates the effectiveness of this method from evaluating subway operators driving task.Analysis showed that this method can describe the mental workload changes of whole process and find out what cause the high mental workload.
