Word Sense Disambiguation and Frame-Script Theory

WSD (word sense disambiguation) has been the research area of many disciplines such as artificial intelligence science, cognitive psychology and psycholinguistics. In the past decades, various disambiguation theories have been proposed. This article introduces briefly some representative disambiguation systems, and in particular the practice and significance of the frame - script theory are discussed in the perspective of lexical disambiguation.
