Way to Reconstruct the Feature Model under Constraint-Based Extrusion and Rotation

On the basis of segmenting 3D measured data with feature design intention, the parameter extraction of the features obtained by several common modeling methods such as extruding, revolving, and the fitting of sketch profile are transformed into the resolution of constraint optimization problem. With the interface of CAA-the secondary development platform of CATIA, the parameterized solid feature models can be reconstructed. Experimental results demonstrate that the method presented here is reliable.
