Autonomous vehicles are an ever increasing presence in the research field. In many cases this research is inspired by the desire to improve autonomous capability beyond the requirement for user input and to alleviate the requirement for living beings to enter hazardous environments. This report serves to introduce a prototype cooperative outdoor navigation system as implemented on a platoon of Seekur Jr research robots. The prototype system facilitates coordinated outdoor navigation through the sharing and processing of global positioning data. The results obtained demonstrate that the final design of the prototype system is capable of adhering to a leader-follower relationship in a cooperative outdoor navigation.
