Graph Kernel Prediction of Drug Prescription

Predictive models for drug prescription exist; we propose an additional such model that uses a graphical representation of an electronic health record with the prescription process formulated as a kernelized binary (success or failure) classification problem. Our approach improves accuracy while maintaining a high level of interpretability. Results using the Taiwanese National Health Insurance Research Database (NHIRD) favorably compare our approach to other models.
