In this paper, the comparison and evaluation of different network interruption tools such as the SelfishNet, NetLimiter, and Wondershaper is discussed to assess its capabilities in controlling network traffic. Initially, criteria were set to establish basis in order to classify its functionalities as well as its differences. The testing is defined according to interoperability, system requirements, upgrades, security, functionality, performance, usability, responsiveness and smoothness, supportability and cost. In line with this criteria, the comparison and differences of these tools were evaluated through actual tests and comprehensive assessments.
