Synchronised Visualisation of Software Process and Product Artefacts: Concept, Design and Prototype Implementation

This paper presents Conceptual Visualisation, a novel synchronised visualisation (SV) approach that builds on the well-known CodeCity metaphor and focuses on agile software practices. Our aim is to bring the benefits of SV to support the agile development process by employing a visual technique that unifies and synchronises software code entities with the original user requirements and their implementation activities. The approach makes the design concepts and original developers' intentions readily and contextually available in an interactive visual environment.
