Application of Modern Communication Technology in Smart Home System

This paper summarizes the wired and wireless transmission technology for smart home devices. The wired transmission includes RS232 asynchronous serial communication, Ethernet communication, PLC communication and so on. The wireless transmission mode includes WIFI, GPRS\GSM, Bluetooth, ZigBee, NFC and so on. In addition, the advantages and disadvantages of various transmission technologies are compared, and the development direction of the smart home device communication technology is pointed out, and the wireless transmission mode will be the focus of the future development.
