This article provides an overview of the implementation and development of frequency and time synchronization systems. The historical stages of the development of such systems are considered, as well as the actual problems of adapting existing technical solutions to work in the new generation networks. The tasks of the development and implementation of modern domestic synchronization equipment are formulated.
