Simulation of Current Sourced Power Supply Providing Adjustable Currents for Multiple Loads

This paper deals with current mode electronic converters. In many cases (lighting, shape memory alloy actuators etc.) a physical parameter of the system depends on the electrical current. Taking into account that the most of the electrical energy sources are voltage sources, achievement of high accuracy and easy implementation of regulation of the mentioned parameter become a problem, especially in the case when the parameter has to be adjusted for several objects (several sections of the load). In the given report a promising configuration, consisting of a current source and several current regulators, suitable for mentioned applications is considered. The model of the system has been built and simulation results obtained, in general proving the applicability if this configuration.
