Museum in Your Living Room: Recreating the Peace Corps Experience in Mixed Reality

We describe the design and implementation of a mixed reality exhibit prototype for the Museum of the Peace Corps Experience. The Museum exhibits are reconstructed using the photogrammetry and made interactive using real-time physics simulation and freehand interaction. We recorded the volumetric captures of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers telling stories related to the artifacts. The prototype was evaluated in a pilot study with positive response of the audience.
