Analysis of Receivers' Nonlinearity by the Use of Double-Frequency Diagram

Chen Pang, Zhiyong Yu · 2019

The automated double-frequency test technique is one of the most effective methods for detecting the nonlinear characteristics of radio receivers. By identifying the double-frequency diagram measured by the double-frequency test, all nonlinear response (including intermodulation, cross-modulation and spurious response, etc) types and orders can be obtained. The identification methods of double-frequency diagram by manual and automated process are developed, which simplifies the identification process and improves the recognition efficiency. The nonlinear characteristics of the receiver are analyzed by the identification of the response line in the double-frequency diagram.
