The splicing of ripped-up documents has an important application in the judicial evidence recovery, historical document restoration and military intelligence acquisition. So the repair of broken files is necessary. Traditionally, the splicing recovery work needs to be done manually with a higher accuracy, but splicing debris will be faced with debris when it is done manually, and manual splicing will be costly and inefficient. This paper uses the principle of 0-1 matching, gray matching to establish several different broken file repair models for the length, quantity, and single or double sides of broken files. Then it uses the corresponding processing of the computer in order to achieve these shredding pieces of automatic or semi-automatic splicing reduction.
