Study of higher order squeezing and subpoissonian photon statistics in generalised binomial state of light

Amit Verma · AIP conference proceedings · 2019

Higher order nonclassicality in terms of squeezing and subpoissonian photon statistics is explored in Generalized Binomial State (GBS) of light. It is shown that this state satisfy the both criteria in different limits of depending parameters of state. Depth of nonclassicality and witness of nonclassicality depends on various parameters related to GBS. Mutual relation between different signatures of nonclassicality in GBS is also provided and further observed that the state may show nonclassicality for subpoissonian statistics criterion in the absence of squeezing. Earlier our group shown that some nonlinear excited states show squeezing in the absence of subpoissonian photon statistics. Finally this study claims that Photon statistics and squeezing of a particular order are independent phenomenon.
