The objective of this work is to design and implement automatic customer face recognition by using a cloud computing platform. Instead of using local computational power like traditional systems, which is limited in terms of resources and scalability, this platform uses cloud-based capabilities to overcome these challenges. The front-end unit captures the customer's picture when a customer is detected. The picture is stored on the cloud storage and is analyzed using Software as a Service (SaaS). The aim of this platform is to count the number of customers, instead of just tracking customers without knowing that they are new or existing customers. This platform can provide better solutions and can recognize a repeat customer who has checked the product more frequently. Additionally, the platform can be applied to other applications, such as security systems or attendance recording systems.
