In this paper, we propose the novel method for signal reconstruction based on the tetration polynomial. The second order tetration polynomial is applied to construct the interpolation formulae. However, this polynomial has a shift-variant and asymmetric properties. These properties are used to build several formulae which have specific characteristics. The left-side technique has a low response to the signal variation. In the other hand, the right-side technique has a high response to the signal variation. Both techniques are applied to simulate the interpolation results for the fundamental signal such as square, saw-tooth and sine wave signal with various sampling resolution. The traditional interpolations such as nearest neighbor, linear and cubic interpolation are used to compare the performance of our proposed interpolation. The results show that our proposed methods can be used to reconstruct the fundamental signal and can give most of the PSNR value higher than other methods.
