Incorporating Advancements In Voting Strategies: A Survey

In a democratic country like India, election or voting is the process by which common people express their opinions and enforce democratic rights by casting votes and choosing candidates to democratic institutions. To be able to vote is a fundamental right of a citizen. Even today voting systems ranges from age-old techniques like voice and ballot voting to new and improved methods like electronic, online and biometric authenticated voting. This survey tries to give a brief and precise overview of the different voting systems that are prevalent, their advantages and disadvantages and also some technological advancements made in this domain.
