A mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) is defined as a self-configuring ad-hoc network of many autonomous nodes, which are often mobile devices. MANET have wide applications in communication. Routing is a process which discovers the best available path from source to target node also maintains the route. Performance of MANET is evaluated by considering various Quality of services parameters like Packet Delivery Ratio, Routing overhead, Average end-to-end Delay, Jitter and Packet Loss under different network circumstances like speed of mobility. In MANET, there are various issues such as loss of packets problem owing to transmission fault, broken links, and no route to the destination. This paper compares the different routing protocol of MANET, i.e. AODV, DSDV, OLSR and DSR.
