A Novel Watermarking Scheme to against Fake Node Identification Attacks in WSNs

Security in wireless sensor networks has been attracted to research in recent years. In which, the watermarking technique is a promising approach to authenticate and manage the entities of wireless sensor networks due to its popular use and lightweight. In this paper, a novel watermarking scheme is proposed to against fake or clone node ID attacks and provide a protection to sensed data simultaneously. Based on the dynamic watermark, the proposed scheme can bring a robust security and easily incorporate with a practical routing protocol. The efficiencies of the scheme are validated by security analysis and numerical results.
