A Non-Parametric Method for Curve Smoothing
Shuangfeng Lan, Yi Wan · 2018
Curve fitting is widely used in various fields. Smoothness is an important index to evaluate the fitting effect. Smoothness spline is a widely used and good smoothness method. However, the principle derivation of this method is complex, and the time complexity of the algorithm is high. As the number of data points increases, the running time will greatly increase. This paper presents a method of fitting curves by moving data points continuously. This method does not need to calculate any coefficient and has very low time complexity. Experiments show that the algorithm has good smoothing effect and short running time.
