Quantitative Evaluation in Security Assurance

Quantitative evaluation of system components, security assurance cases and system architecture are independently developed by using traditional approaches. This paper proposes a new approach which is possible to develop quantitative evaluation, security assurance and system architecture in an integrated way by using ArchiMate. This method can reduce the cognitive and operational gaps caused by operating and understanding different diagrams. The effectiveness of this method is also proved by comparative experiments.
