With the development of smart grid technology, virtual communication network has received extensive attention. The single-standard system architecture causes lack of uniform distribution rules in communication network resources. A genetic algorithm-based virtual resource network resource allocation model is proposed, which can adapt to the complex heterogeneous network environment of hybrid PLC and Mesh. Firstly, virtual communication network architecture is constructed, and the communication network model composition is given. Throughput is selected as the objective function, and network mapping relationship is used as the constraint condition. Then, based on genetic algorithm, resource allocation model of the communication network is designed, and the optimized subcarrier calculation result is compared with heuristic algorithm. Finally, experiments are used to verify that throughput and resource utilization have good applicability to network improvement.
