Classification of SNMP Network Dataset for DDoS attack prevention

Recently flooding attacks have posed a threat and has shown high vulnerability. Various steps have been taken to avoid these cyber threats. This paper deals with SNMP flooding attacks and classification of its different types. The dataset provided had in it 10 different classes. Various machine learning algorithms, namely Decision Trees, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting and Perceptron, were used in the classification, accuracies were compared and analysis were drawn out.
