'Quick and Dirty' Usability Tests

Testing provides feedback loops in the product creation process. This feedback can be provided throughout the process, through the testing of simulated concepts, working prototypes and products on the market. This chapter discusses usability testing within the context of the product creation process, looking in particular at how this is achieved in an industrial context. It draws strongly on work carried out by the Applied Ergonomics Group at Philips Corporate Design.
