Voice assistants are making their way in home healthcare, improving patient care by increasing efficiency and presenting a new experience by offering a wide range of tools and capabilities. Patients can access medical information, monitor and analyze health issues and communicate with ease with the help of useful applications and services. This is especially beneficial for the elderly patients. This paper showcases the patient-focused voice and web services developed for Amazons Alexa and Google Assistant and pinpoint the benefits of this technology in healthcare in the comfort of the patients home.
