Indu Sahu, U. S. Pandey · 2018 International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communication Control and Networking (ICACCCN) · 2018
In the current epoch, everything is possible with the mobile phones. Tasks such as shopping, document editing, social networking, information gathering etc. do not require computers anymore. Thus, the usage of mobile phones is increasing day by day at a rapid pace. Despite of advancements in processing and storage capabilities of these devices, they are still not as powerful as PCs for large and demanding applications. One solution to this problem is the amalgamation of cloud computing with the mobile devices. This will delegate some data and tasks of mobiles on the cloud servers in an on-demand fashion. Since, the information is processed somewhere else rather than the mobile phones, security, integrity and privacy issues have arisen and these issues need to be taken care of. This paper presents the possible challenges in this field, measures suggested by various researchers in solving these challenges and remaining open security issues.
