Managing risks is of paramount importance to improve the success rate of soft-ware related projects irrespective of its domain. The developed projects which undergo rigorous testing phase, still fail to address the customer needs. The Agile based software management has been efficient in the recent times for majority of the project’s success. So towards managing IoT related systems effectively, agile based software risk management can be efficient. So accordingly, we in this paper have proposed a system which involves architecture and a risk assessment framework which assists in achieving this goal. Furthermore, machine learning techniques been included into this proposed sys-tem which turns out to be more conducive for an incessant system. Moreover, with the current metrics in software risk management if utilized in IoT, it may not be providing the appropriate results-hence it is necessary to include the IoT based software metrics for effective performance. This paper focuses on the architecture of agile software risk management for IoT-Fog based systems and a software risk assessment framework.
