Discrete Cosine Transform Interpolation Approach To Design an Fractional Order Hilbert Transformer

This paper is presented the discrete cosine transform approach to design a fractional order hilbert transformer. First, theory of non-integer order hilbert transformer definition is reviewed. Then, continuous time signal is generated from discrete discrete-time signal with the of discrete cosine transform(DCT-II). Next, index mapping technique is applied to obtain the values of the filter coefficients as well as the transfer function of non-integer order hilbert transformer. Finally, some numerical problems are discussed to show the usefulness of (DCT-II) method.
