A Framework For Combination Of Sequential Architecture And Soft Biometrics In Multibiometric Scores Fusion

This work aims to present an architecture of multibiometric scores fusion that combines the sequential strategy and the soft biometric features. The main objective is to provide a new architecture that can improve the performance in multibiometric systems. The first part of the paper presents the benefit of soft biometrics in multibiometric systems. Then, we focus on the sequential strategy of scores fusion. Based on the two principles mentioned early, a framework of the adapted sequential scores fusion architecture is proposed. Finally, the detailed instructions of the derived algorithm are built.
