RF is seen as THE key enabler for connected intelligence applications. Products and applications made possible by RF connectivity include mobile devices, the internet of things, automotive radar, connected cars, the network infrastructure and optical modules. This talk examines the many RF architecture approaches being pursued to keep pace with today's new levels of connectivity. We will also explore the semiconductor offerings, IP and design enablement that GLOBALFOUNDRIES brings to the marketplace to serve these next-generation applications, and how they can be used to address 5G architectural challenges.
