Websites and Web Apps

Creating prototypes of websites in InDesign is a very simple process that can take minutes, and the work can be previewed easily as either a small web format (SWF) file or an Interactive PDF. When creating page links for a website, it is necessary to have several pages that will show the transition from one page to the next or even if a drop menu will be created. Each page needs to show the user incrementally how to interact with the website. When creating buttons for submenus or secondary navigation, it is important to make sure that each button is easy to click and to interact with. Size, location, and contrast are very important. Using buttons and object states together creates so much flexibility and it also allows to create a wide range of buttons and other ways to show interactivity on a website or web app.
