Many lament accelerations wrought by technology, while others revel in it. Commerce, however, has measurably sped up, outdating long-term initiatives. As technology continuously speeds up and algorithms become increasingly nonlinear, however, forensic shortterm preventative cybersecurity runs the risk of being overrun. In response, cybersecurity must focus on long-term design for prevention strategies with provisions for life-cycle countermeasures.
