SVM-based Technique for Mobile Malware Detection

A paper presents a new technique for the mobile malware detection based on the malware's network features analysis is proposed.It uses SVM for malicious programs detection.The novel approach provides the ability to detect malware in the mobile devices.As the inference engine for malware detection the support vector machine was used.The detection process is performed by taking into account the malware's features, captured in the mobile devices.Experimental research showed that the SVMs are able to produce the accurate classification results.Experiments demonstrated, that technique is able to detect different types of malware up to 98.21%.
