Web real-time communication (WebRTC) is technology enabling peer-to-peer communication with voice, video, messaging, and data sharing via browsers. WebRTC adoption depends on many influence factors (IFs) that affect quality of experience (QoE). Related research activities have indicated that context IFs (CIFs) are important to understand the QoE in WebRTC. The main objective of this paper is to understand the effect of task and temporal contexts (i.e., task complexity and duration) on QoE. Experimental study is conducted including survey with end users to collect mean opinion score (MOS) when performing the task of different complexity and duration in video calling over WebRTC. Analysis conducted by using statistical methods reveals the existence of statistically and practically significant effect of selected CIFs (i.e., task complexity and duration) and their interactions on QoE for video calling over WebRTC. The quantification of relationship between selected CIFs and QoE is proposed in form of prediction QoE model for video calling over WebRTC.
