Optimal distributed sensing in noisy environments

P. Sekatski, S. Wölk, W. Dür · Physical Review Research · 2020

This paper shows that signals with a specific spatial dependence can be directly measured with a quadratic quantum advantage by preparing appropriate quantum states that utilize entanglement between sensors, hence the measurement process is not affected by other signals, including noise, with a different spatial dependence.
