Epileptogenic Foci Time Varying Source Loca1ization Using Source Affine Image Reconstruction (SAFFIRE) Algorithm

This paper presents the performance of the Source Affine Image reconstruction algorithm (SAFFIRE) on an epileptogemc foci time-varying source localization. This algorithm is based on the recursive implementation of the minimum mean squared error (MMSE) estimator. The SAFFIRE algorithm is applied on a synthetic EEG signal originated from different sources' scenarios. The simulation results show how the algorithm is able to localize and track the sources as they vary with time with a high resolution even if the sources are located close to each other.
