Entanglement and complexity of interacting qubits subject to asymmetric noise

This paper shows that a chain of coupled qubits, interacting strongly with extremely noisy resonators, can still display all the hallmarks of significant quantum complexity and pose an intractable simulation problem for supercomputers.
