Recently, Images are outsourcing to the cloud for its abundant computing resources and benefits. If the images are stored in a cloud, the users do not require a large storage space in their device. The stored images in the cloud can be shared with the others effortlessly. This is very helpful in many ways such as the MRI scan of the patient can be store in a cloud by the hospital and doctors can use these images from the cloud. Images may contain sensitive and personal information. Outsourcing image should be protected from the unauthorized access by cloud server. To protect the confidentiality of the outsourced images, images are encrypted before they are stored in the cloud. To provide image authentication, the watermark can be added to the image. In the existing approach, only the image user can perform the operations such as scaling and cropping. This proposed method allows cloud server to perform the encrypted domain image scaling and cropping without learning anything about the image. This will help the users from downloading large size images from the cloud and then performing the image processing. The watermark embedded in the image is helpful for image authentication and the encryption of the image helps to protect the confidentiality of the images.
