PRINCE has been proposed as a lightweight block cipher of representative unrolled architecture. However, it has been reported that PRINCE is vulnerable against correlation power analysis in a chosen-plaintext scenario. From a viewpoint of tamper resistance, it is important to evaluate by using several analysis methods. Therefore, this study proposes a new power analysis method for PRINCE with unrolled architecture. Experiments using several selection functions reveal the vulnerability of PRINCE.
