An Optimized Multi-item Bilateral Negotiation Model

This paper proposes a bilateral optimized model for negotiation between buyer and seller through a mediator agent to negotiate on the issue price and the quantity for multi-item. This model produces a proposal by simultaneously considering multiple items to optimize the total joint utility of buyer and seller agent. A multi-item approach generalizes well as the optimal total utility may be different than the optimal utility of individual items as shown through experimental results.
