The popularity of using mp3 files as a format for digital music and song media makes it vulnerable to copyright issues. One way to protect copyright in mp3 files is to use audio steganography techniques. The method used for audio steganography is the Low Bit Encoding method along with the Electronic Code Book algorithm. The Low Bit Encoding method inserts a message into an mp3 file on each of the least influential bits or Least Significant Bit. The Electronic Code Book algorithm is used as a security so that messages inserted into mp3 files are safe from manipulation of parties who are not responsible for certain interests. The results showed that the use of audio steganography using the Low Bit Encoding method and the Electronic Code Book Algorithm successfully inserted copyright information into mp3 format audio files. Although it has a low level of robustness because it is not resistant to conversion manipulation and amplitude manipulation, the results of the research show that the resulting mp3 stego file has a good level of imperceptibility, fidelity, and recovery. Testing using MOS (Mean Opinion Score) produces an average value of 5 for all genres and an average SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) value of 35 dB.
