5G (5thGeneration) plays a key role in providing the seamless interconnection among heterogeneous devices everywhere at any time. However, exploiting the clustered schemes for 5G is still a challenge because as 5G networks are implemented in large scale and turn out to be more multidimensional, the current developments are not directly applicable to it. Hence, in this work, the cluster designing architecture is incorporated for the selection of cluster at the early stage. Even though, there are various techniques used to attain better load, delay and throughput in WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) and WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) network for 5G networks. Clustering of the nodes is considered as the best method, since it aims to reduce the delay and enhance the throughput as well as load and also increases the life span of the network. The proposed scheme is implemented using OPNET 14.5, where each mobile node is having common base station and connected to the backbone network through IP cloud. Here VoIP application is used to evaluate the performance for combination of WLAN and WiMAX network. The performance parameters considered for analysis are network delay, throughput and load.
