Information Security Awareness: Study on a Government Agency

The challenge for organizations today is not only to invest and improve software and security services, but also about creating and increasing end-user security awareness. Given the magnitude of the impact of the problems that may arise, the security awareness of end users must be increased. The purpose of this study is to measure information security awareness and provide recommendations for organizations. Utilizing human resources information security awareness measurements using a model developed by Kruger and Kearney in 3 dimensions, namely knowledge, attitude and behavior. Information security awareness level is calculated based on the respondent's answer. The calculation is done using the Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) method. In this study, the MCDA model is used to measure the total value of alternatives based on certain criteria. The results of this study are to provide improvement suggestions to increase awareness of information security for end users.
