This paper presents solutions that can be used to interlink components of an automated subsea production control system for a shore station based on the parametric model of a subsea production complex (SPC ACS). The authors demonstrate feasibility of the common information space as a way to interlink the existing data sources for shared access in management of complex production processes. Based on division of a system into components (services), the service-oriented approach is discussed as the best choice in architecture design of a new system. The paper discusses the role-based data access model as the basis for the security policy.
