Abstract Televisions and monitors with a whopping 7,680‐ by 4,320‐pixel resolution have entered the market, but with rare exceptions the content and delivery systems to support these 8K devices have not kept pace. Even so, there is more to 8K than the classic chicken and egg scenario.
