The Shahezi formation of Xujiaweizi fault depression in Songliao basin has the sedimentary characteristics of multi-source, sedimentary facies changing fast, complex lithologic combination and numerous coal seams growth and so on. This leads that one single attribute cannot predict the areas of development of favorable sandstone correctly and improves the difficulty of reservoirprediction. So we use multi-attribute comprehensive analysis to promote the precision of reservoirprediction. By the combination analysis of logging and seismic data and elaborate analysis of seismic facies, we defined the seismic reflection characteristics of the favorable sandstone clearly. With the method of sensitive attribute analysis and forward modeling analysis we select out the best attribute that can reflect the sedimentary characteristics of the working area best. By the cooperation and application of the various attributes, we eliminated the underdevelopment areas of sand body and get the favorable sand body development areas finally. The new method can predict the distribution of favorable sand body in the working area better and the well coincidence rate achieved 87%.
