Prototype of the intraoral dental scanner based on a laser scanning system

Peculiarities of volumetric models construction of the dentitions and individual teeth using the monochromatic light are discussed. Numerical representation of the sensing setup comprising a rotatable objective table is deduced. Computation outputs using the mathematical representation of the described setup are presented. Real-task performance of the developed laser scanning technique is confirmed.
