Improving Entity Relationship Modeling Accuracy with Novice Data Modelers

This research compares two approaches to instruction in entity-relationship data modeling. The findings indicate that the use of an intermediate modeling approach to assist subjects in organizing information to be modeled will improve performance as measured by the accuracy of the resulting data model.
